FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHERE DOES CLIMATEWORX MANUFACTURE?

ClimateWorx products are manufactured in Brampton, Ontario.

WHICH MARKETS DOES CLIMATEWORX SERVE?

ClimateWorx International was initially established to serve the international market. Strategically located in Canada, we were well positioned to serve the European market as well as Asia. In the late 1990s, ClimateWorx entered the U.S. market for the first time. In a relatively short period, ClimateWorx has gained a solid reputation for quality and innovative designs. Our main growth plans are now focused on North and South America.

WHAT ABOUT SPARE PARTS AND SERVICE?

All ClimateWorx agents are required to have factory trained technicians in order to perform start-up and maintenance. In addition, factory technical support is also available.

ClimateWorx carries a full complement of spare parts, available at short notice. Alternatively, ClimateWorx uses the industry's most reliable and widely acceptable parts, which are also available from most HVAC wholesalers in North America. Only the Microprocessor is ClimateWorx' proprietary component, which is available from the factory or through our agent network.

WHAT IS CLIMATEWORX' ATTENTION TO QUALITY CONTROL?

Burst Test: Each chilled water unit is burst tested to 150 psi with nitrogen and tested for leaks. The DX units are burst tested to 350 psi.

Mass Helium Spectrometry: A vacuum is then applied before being pressurized with Helium at 90 psi for the mass spectrometry analysis. Each ClimateWorx unit is subjected to a Helium Mass Spectrometry test to detect even the most minuscule of leaks.

M-52 Controller Test: Each microprocessor is run tested for 24 hours prior to installation to ensure 100% functionality.

ClimateWorx Test Stand: Every ClimateWorx unit is factory run tested to ensure 100% functionality.

Dielectric Test: All Electro-Mechanical components - Fans, Compressors, Humidifiers, Heaters, Valves, Condensate pumps and transformers.

DOES CLIMATEWORX HAVE REFERENCES FROM REPEAT CUSTOMERS?

Yes. ClimateWorx has gained the trust and confidence of many corporations worldwide, which have in some cases adopted its design as a standard requirement within their respective facilities. We have completed several projects throughout North America for companies such as Intel and Verizon Wireless. A few sites now have close to 100 ClimateWorx units purchased over the course of many years.

WHY MIGHT I NEVER HAVE HEARD OF CLIMATEWORX BEFORE?

ClimateWorx International was initially established to serve the international market. Even though we were always located in Canada, the North American market had never been our focus ... until recently!

DOES CLIMATEWORX OFFER ANYTHING DIFFERENT?

Yes! ClimateWorx was one of the first manufacturers to offer a plenum fan unit in 2003. It was offered in the floor mounted legacy M Series, and continues to be our standard in the Series 11, Series P and Series PS6.

We are also one of the first North American manufactures to promote the merits of installing the plenum fans under the floor, and the slide out fan for quick-and-easy serviceability and inspection.

Controller Redundancy, Touch Screen, User Friendly, and Powerful. ClimateWorx has offered controller redundancy since 1990. This logic allows for any one unit in a Co-Work system to operate even if its controller has failed. We were also the first to offer Co-Work back in 1990. This concept ensures that all units in a thermal zone work together as a team, and prevents units from fighting (one cooling while the other heating).
